This workshop, "Marketing for Farmers," is designed to help current and aspiring farmers learn how to build a marketing plan to help identify and connect with customers and plan for next market season. This workshop will be hosted on November 8th from 4-6 p.m. at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension - Lee County Center located at 2420 Tramway Road, Sanford NC. Description

This workshop is designed to help current growers as well as those interested in running a farm to think about marketing to leverage their business, from planning what to grow to knowing who to sell to. We will cover the critical components of a successful marketing plan and discuss methods to help you build your own plan. We will have Derek Washburn, Farm Business Management Extension Associate and coordinator of the NC Farm School Program at NC State University as our guest presenter, so we are in for a treat!
