Pam Kerley

Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, supporting, and recognizing adult and teen volunteers; developing inclusive, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environments; and fostering youth/adult partnerships that elevate youth voice and leadership. I collaborate with Extension colleagues, schools, libraries, community organizations, and volunteers to expand access to high-quality 4-H opportunities across Lee County. I also select and deliver research-based curricula, manage program logistics and compliance requirements, evaluate program outcomes, and communicate impacts to stakeholders, funders, and the public. These strategies strengthen our community’s capacity to support young people and help them develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to thrive.
