Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers support judges during the Lee County Regional Fair.

There is a lot growing on in Lee County, and there is so much program potential! Some on-going volunteer opportunities:

  • Pollinator Haven Garden– maintenance, curation, education and outreach
  • Sanford Farmers’ Market Outreach
  • Office and Helpline Support
  • Lee County Regional Fair– September
  • 4-H Clubs and Camps
  • EMG Plant Health Clinics in the area
  • Local community gardens
  • Pollinator and native plant gardening and research support
  • Vegetable gardening trials
  • Event support for one-time events- Ag Week, Bradford Pear Bounty, just to name a few
  • Classroom support during educational opportunities
  • Speakers’ Bureau- Teach in the community!
  • You tell us! 

There are always opportunities popping up to support Extension’s educational and outreach efforts in the community. Bring your strengths to serve the community through gardening!
