Collapse ▲Introduction
The Horticulture agent in Lee County and the Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Lee County are happy to come speak to your group about gardening-related topics! This is a fun, engaging way to educate the general public about a number of gardening topics and meet them where they are.
We recommend that you submit speaker requests no more than four months in advance and at least four weeks prior to the program date to allow adequate time to look for a speaker. We cannot guarantee that a speaker will be available to fill all requests.
We can most effectively find a speaker if you provide specific topics you are interested in learning about (ex: house plants, soil tests, etc.).
Generally, our speakers need a minimum of 45 minutes and preferably an hour to cover most gardening topics.
