Longleaf Forest Landscape

The mission of the Lee County Landowners’ Forestry Association is to provide educational programs on a wide range of forestry-related topics, and occasional tours, for the group. This organization is for all who are interested in forestry and conservation in Lee County, as well as to those in surrounding counties, whether you own forest land or not. We also see our meetings as an opportunity for fellowship and networking with those who have similar interests.

Our Association has been active for decades, and meets three times a year, in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Meetings are open to the public and are held in the evening at the N.C. Cooperative Extension McSwain County Center/N.C. Cooperative Extension Lee County Center, 2420 Tramway Rd., Sanford, NC 27330. Persons who wish to join the Association pay minimal annual dues. If you are interested in learning more about this organization, please contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension Lee County Center at 919-775-5624.
