Interested in visiting and supporting local farms? Returning once again as part of Lee County Ag Week this year, we are hosting our Farm Stand Passport Challenge!

Why participate in the Farm Stand Passport Challenge?

The goal of our Farm Stand Passport challenge is to raise awareness of local agriculture in Lee County and encourage you to visit as many of our local farm stands as possible during April (and hopefully beyond!). By participating in the passport challenge, you will also be entered into a raffle to win a prize at the Sanford Farmers’ Market on the last Saturday in April, April 26th!

How the Farm Stand Passport program works
Grab a passport and collect signatures (and photos!) at participating farm stands during the month of April to be entered in our raffle to win prizes of locally-made and grown products as well as agriculture-themed swag! Download a passport (see link below) or visit the Lee County Extension office or Sanford Farmers’ Market to grab a physical passport and return it with signatures to the Sanford Farmers’ Market manager table on April 26th by 10:30 a.m. to be entered to win! One signature = 1 raffle ticket. The raffle will be drawn at 11 a.m.

Passports are available now! You can download and print the passport here using the link below. You can also pick-up a physical copy at the Lee County Extension office (2420 Tramway Road in Sanford, open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or the Sanford Farmers’ Market (Saturdays mornings 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m., in the parking lot of 115 Chatham Street in downtown Sanford) throughout the month of April.
