Grower-Buyer Event

Are you a business, organization, or institution looking to source local foods for your store, employees, clients or students? Or are you a farmer interested in connecting with local businesses looking to purchase local foods? If so, we have an upcoming event to help you both achieve your goals!

We will be hosting a Grower-Buyer event on April 3rd, and the goal of this event is to connect local businesses interested in purchasing local food with farmers in the area and facilitate the creation of sales relationships. Growers share product lists, photos of their farm, and samples while buyers share their requirements for volume, insurance, delivery terms, and their specific product needs.

We are looking for both businesses (ex. restaurants, grocery stores, cooperatives, food hubs, and other community organizations, etc.) as well as local farmers producing all different types of products, including vegetables, fruits, herbs, meats, cheeses, eggs, canned goods, and others.

Register today using the links below! Also check out the Buyer and Grower Preparation Guides provided below to help you prepare for the event. We also hosted interest meetings for both buyers and growers, you can view the recordings to learn more about the event and how to prepare.

This event will be held at the McSwain Extension Education and Agriculture Center (2420 Tramway Road, Sanford NC) on April 3rd from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Please register by March 28th to save your spot, space is limited!
