Program Description
Whether you are a farmer or part of a non-profit, you have likely considered what funding options are available to help support your organization. Maybe you have wondered if there really is such a thing as “free money, ” and if so, how do you get your hands on it. While it’s true there may be money available to fund your initiatives, the task of finding, securing, and managing it can be daunting. In this seminar, we’ll discuss what a grant is, review the grant funding process, and provide tips and tricks for preparing competitive grant funding applications. While this program touches on foundational grant writing concepts, the content will be tailored to serve farmers and non-profits. Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for future workshops to help them prepare for upcoming grant applications.
This workshop is a collaboration between North Carolina Cooperative Extension – Lee County Center and the Central Carolina Community College Small Business Centers and is free to attend!
