2025 Adventure Camping

July 6-11 | $350 | Enroll in 4HO | Register

Lee County 4-H Camp Week is July 6-11. We depart together around noon on the 6th and return shortly after noon on the 11th. We will camp at Betsy Jeff Penn, one of three 4-H camping centers in NC. Located in the foothills of the NC mountains (Reidsville), campers’ experiences include rock climbing, archery lessons, goat encounters, and swimming.

2024 4-H Awards Banquet was a Huge Success

Last month, the 4-H Clover Council hosted the 4-H Awards Banquet. 180 volunteers, 4-Hers and their family gathered in the Ruby McSwain Education Center to remember their accomplishments in 2024. Photos by the county reporter, Hallie Hardy, are available for download from this Google Drive. The photos will remain available until the end of April.

LCL Star Party

Friday, April 4 | 7:00-9:00 p.m. | Kiwanis Family Park

Blast off into an evening of fun at the LCL Star Party. Children and teens are invited to enjoy games, crafts, telescopes (including a 4-H station or 2), and a special storytime under the stars. Hosted as part of the NC SciFest, this event requires no registration and promises to be a stellar time for all.

Central Electric Membership Corporation will sponsor another annual charity golf tournament. This fun-filled event is a fantastic opportunity to support the youth of Lee County by funding a wide range of activities for local 4-H clubs and their members.
