A garden is a wonderful plant to learn about gardening, horticulture and nature. The Pollinator Haven Extension Demonstration Garden is the perfect place to see perennials, pollinators and gardening techniques. We utilize best practices to maximize plant performance and pollinator visitation. Learn about the plants, the insects and our gardening management techniques. • May 2- 10 a.m.- Welcome the Summer in the Garden
• June 6- 10 a.m.- Get Ready to Celebrate National Pollinator Week
• July 11- 10 a.m.- Do we have pests in the Garden?
• August 1- 10 a.m.- Get prepared for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census in NC!
• September 5- 10 a.m.- Planting New Pollinator Plants!
• October 3- 10 a.m.- Preparing (or not!) the Garden for the Winter
