Purpose of the Extension Master Gardener℠ program

The mission of the North Carolina Extension Master Gardener℠ program is to connect people to horticulture through science-based education and outreach that empowers North Carolinians to cultivate healthy plants, landscapes, ecosystems, and communities.

The Extension Master Gardeners℠ work with the Horticulture Agent, and other Extension Office staff, to achieve local program goals and meet local needs.
