Garden Life Series

Join us for The Garden Life classes and learn how to create, care for and enjoy a beautiful, bountiful and life-enriching garden this spring. The Garden Life series offers 10 classes through North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Lee County.

Based on practical information from the vast knowledge bases of NC’s land grant universities, these classes are designed for anyone wishing to learn more about environmentally sustainable, science-based gardening. Topics that will be covered include building healthy soils, growing vegetables & fruits, tomato grafting, culinary herbs & wild flowers, among others.

Both beginning and experienced gardeners can benefit from the course by gaining the skills and knowledge needed to create and maintain a healthy, resilient yard and landscape.

Classes will be taught by Minda Daughtry, Horticulture Agent with North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Lee County, and will be held at various sites around Lee County.
