What: Native Plant Hike with Nature Photography

Join NC Cooperative Extension staff and partners for an educational hike in San-Lee Park. San-Lee Park is a 177+ acre park, that offers hiking trails, a mountain bike trail, a Nature Center, playground, picnic facilities, campgrounds and two stocked lakes for fishing.
Participants will be guided through various trails where native plant species will be identified and discussed. We’ll share tips on composition, lighting and more. Learn to take great photos that capture the unparalleled beauty in natives with Jimmy Randolph. Submit one to our photo contest! The hike will traverse moderately steep terrain. We’ll meet at the Nature Center Lobby. While the program is free and open to all, advance registration is required.
