Geocaching Fun

Would you like to discover and learn about native plants of North Carolina? Would you like to try your hand at geocaching? Use a GPS device or your smartphone to hike the trails at San Lee Park and Locate several “catches” of native plant species. Join Minda Daughtry, Horticulture Agent and Tracie Bowers, Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer in Lee County as they show you how to identify native plants.

A list of plants and GPS coordinates will be provided and you will be able to scout at your own pace. Work in teams or challenge yourself to find every plant! We will be available to answer your questions!
