Farm-City Week Activities

Join city and country folk as we celebrate our annual Farm-City Week.  Farm-City in Lee County is November 16-23, 2017. We have several events leading up to the Farm-City Week Banquet. An invitation to participate in Farm-City Week events will be given to the Sanford City Council on Tuesday, October 17th by a 4-H member. On Monday, October 23rd a 4-H member will present to the Broadway Commissioners and on Monday, November 13th a member of 4-H will give an invitation to the Lee County Board of Commissioners.

Our annual Farm-City Week Banquet will be held Monday, November 20 beginning with the Social at 5:30 pm and the Banquet at 6:00 pm. The menu will consist of country ham, scrambled eggs, red-eye gravy, grits, biscuits with molasses and a beverage. Tickets are $8 each and may be purchased at North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Lee County.

Ladies Luncheon is back! It will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:45 am at the McSwain Center. Guest speaker is Bill Thompson. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Lee County.
