2013 Master Gardener Training

Lee County’s Master Gardener Volunteer Program will offer a training class for persons interested in becoming Master Gardener Volunteers beginning February 2013.  The training will run February 26, 2013 until June 4, 2013.  The class will meet every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Lee County Farm Bureau Auditorium at the McSwain Extension Education and Agriculture Center, located at 2420 Tramway Road, Sanford, North Carolina.  There is a cost for the training, which will cover training supplies and the Master Gardener training manual.  Applications are now being accepted and can be obtained by calling the Extension Office at 919-775-5624.

This is an excellent opportunity for interested persons to increase gardening knowledge and volunteer in the community.
